With the economy's slow recovery, fund raisers' jobs have gotten much harder.
But a new study of more than 4,000 affluent donors found numerous insights that will help many fund raisers learn how to better concentrate their efforts on the donors most likely to support their causes.
With support from several foundations, Hope Consulting, in San Francisco, studied what makes donors loyal, how donors use information provided by nonprofits, and what matters most to different types of supporters.
Greg Ulrich, the leader of the Money for Good project, will answer your questions about how to raise money most effectively during a live online discussion on Tuesday, August 17, at noon U.S. Eastern time. You can also read an opinion article by Mr. Ulrich and his colleague, Hope Neighbor, from The Chronicle's latest issue.
